Almost everyone does not like to cook in a small kitchen especially when it gets hot in the kitchen. I mean the huge stoves that reach temperatures of up to 400 degrees, not to mention the volume they occupy on the kitchen counter. No Thanks!
Add to that the fact my kitchen isn’t particularly big and turning on the oven or hob immediately brings with it an instant blast of really hot air, making it almost impossible to stand in the kitchen, especially on summer days.
An Air Fryer seemed like an obvious option, so I was excited to try out the new Cosari Lite 4.0-Quart air fryer. From the first time I used it, I was pleasantly impressed. Its compact design, large enough for 4-qt. the basket and the impressive crispness performance, the healthy way of preparing the food had me hooked- not to mention the many times the temperature in the kitchen drops on hot summer days while I’m cooking!

If you’re looking for a more condensed option compared to our highly-rated Cosori Pro 6.8L air fryer, this Lite version delivers remarkable cooking performance and a diverse range of presets in a compact package.
It boasts a simple and sleek design, featuring a smooth touchscreen control panel on the top, vibrant accents, and WiFi compatibility – making it a technologically advanced choice suitable for various budgets.

The appliance includes five presets for chicken, fries, bacon, steak, and veggies, along with manual controls for adjusting temperature and time. The convenient preheat and keep-warm features enhance usability. Additionally, the accompanying app provides a decent albeit somewhat limited collection of recipes to kickstart your cooking endeavors.
This is meant for smaller kitchens and smaller households: Cosori says it will make one to three servings, but three might be a bit optimistic. The cooking basket is quite small at 20cm wide and 20cm deep, which means there isn’t much room for food that needs to be spread out in a single layer, such as chips.
It also means you’re limited to making one thing at a time, so for example, if you’re making chips legs, there’s only for four to five and nothing else.
Cosori Air Fryer Lite Design
I’m loving the sleek and minimalistic vibes of the COSORI Lite Air Fryer! Its compact design is a game-changer, taking up way less space on the exterior compared to other models. If you’re into a clean and modern aesthetic in your kitchen, this is the perfect fit.
I find it somewhat inconvenient that the COSORI Lite Air Fryer comes with just one basket, making it a challenge to cook two different items simultaneously. The 4-quart capacity might be limiting for some users. On a positive note, the well-organized control panel atop the machine is user-friendly. However, I’ve noticed that the material used tends to attract fingerprints, which can be a minor drawback for some users.

How to use the Cosori Lite 3.8L Air Fryer
Whether you’re well-acquainted with air fryers or a newcomer to the experience, the Cosori model ensures a user-friendly encounter. A simple pull of the handle effortlessly opens the main drawer, and the control panel, adorned with clear and easily readable labels, is conveniently positioned atop the machine. The responsive and intuitive touchscreen panel simplifies navigation, and connecting the air fryer to your phone is a straightforward process.

Accessing the five presets is a breeze, but if you prefer manual settings, just press any preset button twice and adjust the temperature and time using the respective up and down arrows.
Notably, this model incorporates a preheat function, completing the task in two to five minutes, depending on the desired temperature. Additionally, a convenient keep-warm setting is available for instances when immediate access to your cooked items isn’t possible. To aid in the cooking of items requiring shaking, such as chips and vegetables, the Cosori emits a distinct beep when it’s time to perform this action.
Cosori Lite 4.0-Quart Cleaning
This air fryer excels in significantly cutting down on the use of oil in the dishes it prepares, making it a great choice for those prioritizing a healthier diet. Now, considering the flip side – this feature makes the cleaning process a tad more challenging. When it comes to cleanup, I had to eliminate the oil residue by initially using kitchen roll to absorb it completely, followed by a second round to streamline the washing-up process.
For a quicker wash, I hand-cleaned the basket and grill, but it’s worth noting that both items are dishwasher-safe if you prefer that method.
I truly adore the machine’s exterior, particularly the interface. However, it’s worth mentioning that the buttons are somewhat susceptible to fingerprints. While regular cleaning resolves this issue, it’s something to keep in mind, especially in a bustling family household.
Cosori Lite Smart Funcionality
Connecting the mobile phone to the air fryer starts with downloading the app “versus” from Google App Store or Apple Store. If you can’t find the app, you can scan the QR code provided on top of each air fryer and install it.
After completing the first process of installing the application itself, proceed to the settings themselves. Log in to the app and create your registration. You must then accept the app’s policies and familiarize yourself with their rules. Once you have gone through all the administrative work, you need to step into the real part of this process. In the upper left corner of the application, there is a button: “Add Device”

To connect the Air Fryer with a mobile phone or whatever, the air fryer must be turned on!
