The specially designed Corner Brush and advanced sensors, along with the approximately 30% wider Dual Rubber Brushes make it ideal for homes with pets. It offers optimized cleaning deep into corners and along edges, leaving no spot untouched. With vSLAM navigation, the s9+ learns the layout of your home and builds personal Smart Maps, enabling it to expertly clean and navigate in neat, efficient rows.
The Keep Out Zones feature is also a great addition, as it allows me to set boundaries that my Roomba should avoid, like pet bowls or play areas. I can confidently say that the that the iRobot Roomba s9+ is a game-changer in the world of robot vacuums. The self-emptying feature is a huge plus, as it saves me time and effort. I also love how it detects and cleans around objects in my home, making sure that every corner is clean.
However, I must admit that the vacuum is quite loud, and the rubber scrapers/rollers can be pretty annoying at times. Despite this, the vacuum still manages to pick up all the hair from my dog, and it does a great job on both hardwood floors and rugs.
